This retrofit fits the following models:
Audi A3 8P Sportback (2004 - 2008)

Introduction

As my Audi A3 8P Sportback was born in 2008 just before the facelift, I knew even before purchasing it that a LED rear light upgrade was necessary.

The installation was not too bad and I did it with a friend of mine.

Time

2 hours.

We were two persons it took around 1,5 hours to remove + install. Around 30 minutes with coding and testing. It can for sure be done quicker the second time.

Installation & Guide

1. Purchase the new rear lights (a total of 6 parts).

2. Remove the old rear lights (see "how to" under Guide).

3. Install the new LED rear lights.

4. Coding / or installation of the "Coding Dongle".

See the entire retrofit guide below.

If you do not have the tools to code the car you can instead install a "coding dongle" which can be purchased together with the rear lights. See the Coding Dongle here.

Usage

The lights do turn on automatically so there is not much to tell about how to use them. They however do give the car an awesome faelift.

The chosen ebay seller had the best price and gave me a perfect service. He answered all of my stupid questions quickly and with good manners. The lights was created by MAGNETI MARELLI, but seller says that they are original.
